I have over 25 years of experience working in diverse environments with children, adolescents and their families in my professional career. I provide individual services as well as family work (both on-line and in person). I also provide Educational Consulting/Advocacy services to help families ensure that their children receive a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) and finally, I have created a who, what, where, when, how curriculum on communicating with your child and adolescent.and provide tangible and accessible parent support A big focus of what I do is to help folks open up and build their skills to be able to; understand and express all of their emotions, communicate (including non-verbal cues and how to be part of a conversation), and make and maintain friendships through social skills practice. This can include breaking down all or nothing thinking, identifying small & big problems, enabling flexibility and unexpected changes. I also help with overthinking strategies, coping with their anxiety, fears, frustrations, sadness, grief, trauma or anger in ways that aren’t harmful, etc.
